While many governments have undertaken commitments to foster gender equality, recognizing its positive impact on economic and social development, and acknowledge it is critical to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and brighter Future of Work, there is still work to be done to reduce gender equality gaps.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fact, by achieving the G20\u2019s target \u201c25 by 25\u201d, namely reducing the gender gap in labour force participation by 25 percentage points by 2025, the global GDP could go up by 3.9 per cent, or US$ 5.8 trillion according to the ILO.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
